In Kangamiut,
we are our people!

"At Kangamiut Seafood, we recognise that our success depends on the wellbeing, safety and commitment of the people who make up our supply chain - from fishers and processors to our own teams.

We see social responsibility as fundamental to every trading decision and partnership, and we aspire to contribute to better working conditions and social progress wherever we operate."

Human Rights

As a global supplier and distributor of frozen seafood products, we aim to play a positive role in people’s lives across our value chain. Our business is built on trusted partnerships - with suppliers, customers, and colleagues - grounded in fairness, respect, and accountability.

Respect for human rights is fundamental to how we conduct our business. Our Human Rights Policy sets out our commitment to respecting internationally recognised human rights principles and frameworks across our operations and business relationships. We seek to work with suppliers and business partners who share our commitment to responsible business practices and respect for human rights.

Supplier Collaboration for Positive Social Impact

Our Supplier Code of Conduct describes our social as well as environmental and governance standards that we ask Kangamiut Seafood suppliers to uphold. It includes expectations on human rights, occupational health and safety, ethical and social standards and food safety and quality.

Our internal Approved Supplier program helps us to risk assess suppliers in line with our Supplier Code of Conduct. We work hand in hand with our suppliers to help foster improvements in their sustainability practices.

Our employees

At Kangamiut Seafood, we care deeply about the people behind our business and are proud to have a team of exceptionally skilled and engaged colleagues. Kangamiut Seafood provides strong employee benefits, professional development opportunities, and a social and cultural programme that helps employees grow and thrive.

We regularly conduct Employee Satisfaction Surveys to monitor employee health, safety and wellbeing, and to identify opportunities for continuous improvement. The insights gained through these surveys play an important role in shaping initiatives that strengthen the employee experience and support a safe, healthy and engaging workplace
