We are very happy to announce that Klaus Beyer Nielsen has accepted the role as Chair of the Board of Directors of Kangamiut Seafood A/S as well as member of the Board of Directors of the Kangamiut Group A/S as of 3 February 2025.

 

Klaus Beyer Nielsen replaces Birger Brix as Chair of the Kangamiut Seafood Board. Birger will remain member of the Board of Directors of Kangamiut Seafood A/S and Kangamiut Group A/S until the General Assembly in Q2 2025.

 

About Klaus Beyer Nielsen: During his 37 years in A. Espersen A/S, and with almost 25 of these as CEO, Klaus has established himself as a global leader in the seafood industry. His contributions to the industry are no less than extraordinary and include 13 years as chair of the Ground Fish Forum. The strengthening of the Kangamiut Seafood Board, now spearheaded by Klaus Beyer Nielsen, comes at a perfect time as we last week announced our plans to merger three main Kangamiut Group subsidiaries, Northcoast Seafoods A/S, Dansea Nordic A/S, and Kangamiut Seafood A/S into one strong unit under the leadership of Rasmus Grønborg Bak and continuing under the Kangamiut Seafood A/S name.

Our family is privileged to know Klaus through many years, and Klaus was a trusted friend of my father, Niels Vinther Rasmussen, the founder of Kangamiut Seafood.

 

Thanks to Klaus’ winning personality along with his industry experience and leadership that need no further introduction, we could think of no one better suited to continue the role of Chair of the Kangamiut Seafood Board.
